Flora & Fauna is a body of sculptural work that explores the intermingling of human life and the natural world through found materials and painted papier-mâché. Stylized human features merge and intertwine with forms drawn from plants and animals, creating hybrid figures that blur the boundaries between the familiar and the organic. The work considers our relationship to nature not as something separate from ourselves, but as an ongoing exchange in which the human and natural worlds continually shape, inhabit, and transform one another.
